HISTORY OF THE ORGANISATION.

The Nehru Yuva Sangh  was established in the year 1985 on 1st of January in a small village of BahadurPur of Mashrak block in the Saran District of Bihar .The person behind the establishing the club after uniting the youths of the locality was Sri Yogendra Singh and Sri Basistha Narain Singh.They also established Bahadurpur High School and Bahadurpur College some time in the early 80’s.The main objective  behind the formation of Nehru Yuva Sangh was to unite youth and divert their stamina towards betterment of the society specially rural society.sri Yogendra Singh still guiding the institution in the capacity of chairman of the Advisory Committee.The Nehru Yuva Sangh in very little time got name and fame in the district particularly in social work .Due to some technality there were some issues as far as the institution name was concerned the Nehru Yuva Kendra ,Deptt.of Youth Affairs & Sports,Ministry of Human Resource Development,Govt.of India had given the affiliation in the name of Nehru Yuva Mandal instead of Nehru Yuva Sangh in the year 1989 vide affiliation No.MSK-5/89.Since then the Nehru Yuva Sangh became Nehru Yuva Mandal.By the end of 1980’s the Nehru Yuva Mandal was in its full swing and as many 1200+youths were associated from the different part of the locality.Sri Ranveer Raj Singh along with Kumar Praveen Ranjan and Kumar Bhuwan Ranjan and Nirmal Kumar palyed very crucial role in the development of the organization including its infrastructure.It was the effort of Sri Ranveer Raj Singh to merge all small youth clubs and the society of the locality under the banner of Nehru Yuva Mandal.In the early month of the year 1993 Adarsh Bal Samiti and Adarsh Yuvak Kendra were very actively involved in the youth activities in the locality and doing their best in the interest of youths in the area.To mobilize the youth forces under the single united banner of youth association Sri Yogendra Singh took the efforts to unite the youths of the locality for the better results and in the interest of the society requested and appeal to the like minded socities to merge with the Nehru Yuva Mandal.As a result Adarsh Bal Samiti and Adarsh Yuvak Kendra merged with Nehru Yuva Mandal .Its total membership was more than 9,000 youths among which 7000 youths were actively associated with the institution.In the early month of 1994 the Nehru Yuva Mandal applied for the registration Under the Societies Registration Act,1860 but there were objection from the Registrar as the society was named after Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru ,the first prime minister of our country and the society had not taken permission to use the name of Nehru from the competent authority of the Nehru’s family.As a result the Society name had been changed to Progressive Youth Club from Nehru Yuva Mandal.Again the Registration office of the Society Registration Act ‘1860 raised objection for using Club word in its name.Then the institution again decided to go for another name and on September 8 ,1996 the Society became Pragatisheel Yuva Kendra.
